Monster Trucks

July 23 Daddy took Tucker to a Monster Truck show at Hawkeye Downs. They were both SO excited!

They got to watch the trucks race and crash cars.

Tucker cheering!

This truck is "Stinger" it was Tucker's favorite. He even got a t-shirt with this truck on it.

This was one of Tucker's favorite parts. 2 trucks were hooked up to opposite sides of a car and then they pulled!

Avise-Rouse Family Vacation

The Avise-Rouse's got together for a big family vacation. There are 20 of us, so it takes a lot of scheduling to get us all together. We went to King's Point Waterpark Resort and spent 3 days having an amazing time!

There was a really fun playground we enjoyed when we first got to town.

Tucker had so much fun on the roller slide

Uncle Miah, cousin Kristian and Megan climbing

Of course, we spent tons of time in the waterpark! Cousin Kurtis in the pool.

Uncle Kelly, Aunt Jill and Grandma Denise taking a break.

Cousin Tre jumping off the diving board.

Cousin Kassidy swimming.

Griffin loved splashing around in his floatie. He also really liked the tubes on the lazy river. He leaned over the edge and splashed and scared mommy!

Cousin Casey and Aunt Nicole

The slides - Mommy and Daddy went on all of them, even the scary ones! Tucker even got to go on the tube slide with Daddy, twice!

Cousins Renee and Kassidy

Daddy and Tucker on the tube slide at the indoor waterpark. Tucker was very brave with his Lightning McQueen life jacket on! The end of the last day we finally got him to swim back and forth between us with his life jacket on. He just had to realise that it would hold him up!

Cousin Kurtis

Tucker really loved this slide, it was indoors and at the bottom it had it's own little trough so you didn't end up in the deep pool. I can't even count how many times he went down this slide. It was a constant the last day: up the stairs and down the slide, all by himself, over and over!

Daddy splashing all the kids

I missed a picture of Great Grandma and Papa. We really should have taken a group picture but we were having too much fun to stop playing. We played in the water all day and then would go up to the rooms and play games until after midnight when we'd all give in and head to bed. Everyone had a blast and as soon as we got home, were all asking when we could do it again!

Great Grandma/Harry Potter

We had a big storm overnight on July 10th and our neighbor's tree got hit! We were all lucky, it fell toward the outside corner of the yards. The only damage was a little of another neighbor's fence and a couple of our small trees.

The boys playing in the sandbox

Great Grandma came down to watch the boys so Mommy, Daddy, and Aunt Korey could go to the midnight showing of the last Harry Potter movie. The boys love Grandma and always have fun when she comes to visit!

Aunt Korey ready for The Deathly Hallows Part 2

Mommy dressed as Harry!

Daddy in a Marauder's Map shirt

The movie was amazing and we were so glad we got to see the midnight showing of the last movie. We all love the series, it was a bittersweet night!

Farmer's Day

This first picture is from Tucker's swimming lessons. He did such a great job this year and I know he'll have fun in Level 1 next year!

July 9th, we went to Great Grandma's house in Jesup for the Farmer's Day town celebration. Grandma's house is in the prime parade watching location complete with a large shade tree on the corner!

Watching the parade start

Rocking out on his guitar

Griffin made friends with Grandma's raccoon!

Feeding animals at the petting zoo

Tucker wanted to ride the motorcycle, but we didn't think Griffin would want anything to do with a ride, he's so scared of the carousel at the mall! We bought Tucker tickets and put him on, then Griffin started leaning toward him like he wanted to ride. They let him ride for free and said if he got scared they would stop it. But, he LOVED it! They both had so much fun.

Watching the tractor pulls, it was pretty loud for the boys, but they enjoyed it
