Airport Field Trip

Tucker, Calvin and I went on a field trip with Imagination Station to the Greeley Airport. It was a lot of fun, even though it was a little tough with both boys. They are looking out at the planes from the observation deck.

They brought a personal jet out of the hanger so we could see it. The tour guide taught us the names of the parts of the plane.
Then we went in the hanger and saw lots of parked planes.

Tucker really wants to be down on his own everywhere we go. He doesn't want to be carried, or ride. We keep telling him as soon as you can walk, we can put you down! He tried to walk holding on to the stroller, but that was hard!

Picnic

We rode our bikes to a picnic area at Riverside park. We had a great picnic with sandwiches, chips, and oreos. Tucker's picnic was juice, string cheese and beans and rice.


I couldn't believe he was eating the cheese like that!

Then we went down to the river and waded in. The water was freezing but Tucker didn't seem to notice. He liked picking up rocks.

Leia had a great time in the water too, but never goes out farther than she can touch.

New Park

We tried out a new park. It was really fun with lots of new things and it's only a little farther from our house.

and lots of places to climb! I think we'll visit this park more often!

Self-feeding

Tucker has really shown interest in wanting to feed himself. In fact, he doesn't want us to feed him at all anymore. We try to let him a little, but he's so messy and doesn't hardly get any in his mouth. Now we give a spoon to him so he can work on it while we're feeding him with another spoon. It's working well, for now, and he's learning while still getting some food in his belly.

Cuddling with his dogs

Tucker loves Leia so much. He chases her around and gives her hugs and sits on her and pets her. Leia is still not so sure about Tucker. She runs away from him all the time. Here they are in a cute moment. Napping together on the floor!

Leia isn't the only dog he likes to cuddle. This is a toy dog he got from Santa when he was in the hospital. He's giving the dog a hug!
