Easter Bunny and Easter Eggs

On April 1 we went to the mall to see the Easter Bunny and then home to die eggs. We really thought Tucker would be afraid of the Bunny since he wouldn't go near Santa. There weren't any other kids there, so he got to sit on the bench and warm up slowly. Then he enjoyed it! He even sat on the Bunny's lap by himself so mommy could get a picture. They gave him rabbit ears and then we let him ride on the "trucks" before heading home.

The egg dying was quite an experience! We stripped Tucker down to his undies and kept Griffin completely away from the table. He picked out a Cars egg kit, of course, and we had other supplies left over from years before. He would drop the eggs into the cups and splatter die. Then he was reaching for an egg and dumped the blue. It poured everywhere, all over him, the chair, the floor, Daddy. We stood him in the sink and cleaned up the chair and floor and rinsed him off, then let him back at it. Not 3 minutes later he reaches for the pink and dumps that cup. Same story! We now have 1 pink kitchen chair and 1 blue kitchen chair! It was quite the fiasco, but we all had a great time and will always remember it. Tucker called them his "race car eggs"!
