Lake Rathbun

My best friend Sarah and her family go camping and boating at Rathbun Lake every year over Labor Day weekend. I only missed one year from 1995-2003 and that was for a family Cubs game at Wrigley. Then we moved to Colorado and I haven't been able to make it since. Finally, this year, we're living in Iowa and we were definitely going to make it!

Our first full day there Tucker napped for 3 hours! Daddy got 2 and Mommy got 1, it was very helpful to make it through the rest of the weekend!

Tucker's first trip out on the boat. He sat with Kristie Storm for most of it and was loving the ride. He didn't like it when people would get in the water to ski. He would say "need help!" He REALLY didn't like it when Daddy got in the water to ski!

We waited on the beach for a long time to try and catch Daddy wakeboarding for the first time. He finally got up after 4 tries and then stayed on for a long time. Then he got the award for best wipe out when he face planted into the water!
