More Potty Talk

As most of you know we've been slowly starting potty training with Tucker. He gets a sticker and some M&M's when he goes on the potty. This is what his potty seat went from in just a couple days. He got a bad rash and would just cry and cry whenever we had to change his diaper. So one day, I let him sit around with no bottoms on and asked him every 30 mins or so to go sit on the potty. He went a lot of times, and didn't have any accidents till after Daddy got home and he was getting sleepy in his high chair. That night we went and bought him pull-ups and some undies. The undies seem to work the best. He starts to pee, but feels it right away and stops it and tells us he needs to go. This is a huge step that we just couldn't get to before. He's still had his rough days where he is in pull-ups all day, but he's also had a couple great days: making it clean and dry in undies from 4 or so until 9:30 when we get him in his jammies for bed! We are still working hard on not pushing him and letting him go when he wants to. But, we are so proud of how great he's doing at such a young age! We are fully aware that he will probably go backward when his little brother comes, and we're ok with that. He had a rough weekend because he didn't want to stop and sit on the potty and miss out on all the fun playing with Grammy and Grandpa! Plus, he looks SO CUTE in his little undies!
