September

Tucker planted a sunflower seed at a booth at Walmart. We didn't realise how fast it would grow. The first picture is from Sept 5th and it's already taller than he is!

Then we had to get Griffin some flower seeds to plant. We tried a Daisy, but must have planted it too late in the season because we never got a flower on it.

This picture is from the 8th after the flower really opened up! Thanks to our neighbor Marie who took care of it when we were gone!

On the 10th we went to Monticello to join Grandpa and Grammy at the State Fire Convention. They have a huge parade with tons of fire trucks.

Sitting with Daddy waiting for the parade to start

Tucker and Grammy sat right up front to get the candy

Then Griffin thought he was missing out on the good candy, so he joined them!

We went to Indian Creek Nature Center again on the 17th.

Kings of the mountian!

On the 19th Sarah had her first boy, Charlie. I hurried around and made this diaper trike to take to him the next day. I love how it turned out, so cute!

At the hospital on the 20th, the boys got a little bored with the grown-up talk and even the baby so they watched Phineas and Ferb on the iPod!

Tucker loved holding Charlie. After a few minutes I asked him if he was all done and he said no. Then a few minutes later I asked him if he wanted me to take the baby and he said no. A while later I told him to tell me when he wanted to be done and he said "I just wand to hold him for a long time"!

A close up of the handsome little guy!

We visited again on the 25th after they got home and Tucker got to hold Charlie some more!

The 24th was Grandpa's birthday so we celebrated at his house. We got him an electric fly swatter, he seemed almost too happy about it!

Grandpa's cake

Griffin got to try a bite early!

Tucker helped blow out the candles

Great Grandpa George Conz, Great Grandma Alyce Conz, (honorary Great Grandma) Mary, and Great Grandpa Charley Spence! These boys are lucky to have so many grandparents!

Tucker has been working so hard on potty training and staying dry all day. He'd have 1 accitdent every 2 or 3 days becasue he plays a little too hard and forgets to get to the potty! He finally made it a whole week without a single accident and his reward was getting to stay up during nap time. We told him he still had to stay dry all day and not get whiny or throw any fits and then he didn't have to take a nap. He made it on the 30th and played Ninja turtles with Mommy and Uncle Miah! He's been doing great and doesn't have to nap hardly at all anymore!
