Tucker at 23 months

Tucker sees mommy stand in this same place every 4 weeks for pregnancy pictures and this week he wanted his picture taken too! So, I decided to do an update on Tucker at 23 months old.

*He has 18 of his 20 baby teeth. Just waiting on his top 2-yr molars.

*He has started potty training and loves his Thomas the Train and Cars undies.

*He can count from 1-11 (sometimes has trouble with 7) and then jumps to 16.

*He's started naming people. Papop, Gamy, Leia, and himself. He can name himself in pictures and in the mirror; unless it's from when he's really little, then he still says baby. And all dogs are Leia.

*He still would drink milk and eat mac and cheese all day if he could. Some new foods he likes are hot dogs, raw green peppers, and raw carrots.

*He loves to throw the ball for Leia, even more than Leia loves to chase it. He also likes to fill up her food bowl. He noticed the other morning when we were getting ready that she was out of food and started filling it up for her completely on his own. His first "chore" and we didn't even tell him to do it!

*He could watch Disney's Cars all day long if we'd let him. He knows most of the characters by name and even some of the lines. His favorite scene is the race and crash at the beginning of the movie.

*He is just now getting into 18 month clothes. He weighs about 22 pounds which is "below percentile 5".

*He is such a "boy" in some ways. His favorite toys are cars, balls, trains, planes and rockets. But, he doesn't like being dirty. He says "ew" a lot and wants to wash his hands all the time.

*He loves to cuddle when he's tired and play with your hair. It doesn't even have to be long hair, he does it to Daddy too.

*He can pull down his pull-ups and pants (except when they have elastic around the ankles) by himself and climb up on his potty.

*He's becoming very bossy with Leia. At least it's just Leia so far. Any other kids he sees he just says "hi" over and over to them.

*He says "That's funny" and laughs at a lot of things.

*He's still the cutest, funniest, smartest, most loveable little boy ever!
