Jesup Farmer's Day

Jesup Farmer's Day is something I remember doing every year when I was a kid. A lot of the cousins would meet and Grandma and Grandpa's and watch the parade from their house. All the festivities are going on at the park diagonally across the street from the house! This year Tucker got to go experience it too. The parade was really fun, even with the 3 stops to let trains go through town!
We got a couple midway tickets and wanted Tucker to ride the carousel. He was pretty freaked out at first!

But, each time around he would loosen up his grip on Daddy and by the end he was waving at everyone!

Tucker, Nana, and Mommy shared a funnel cake

And then Tucker rode the carousel again. This time barely holding on at all, waving and giving high fives!

Playing at the playground.

Blowing bubbles in Grandma's yard.

Tucker's running the camera

We ran across the field to see the train close up. When I was younger I always would count the cars on each train as it went past. When my Grandpa was being deeply affected by Alzheimer's toward the end of his life, he thought that was my job; coming to their house and counting the cars on the train!
